Facing your bar or island
from the outside (rail side), measure each side of the bar wall.
-
For each side
of the bar also make note of what type of fitting you'll want for
the left and for the right of that side. (for example: "Side
1 is 5' 7" and starts with a flat end cap and ends with a 90* elbow")
-
Note:
Your second, third, fourth... side, etc. will always begin
with the same fitting that was used to end the previous side.
Helpful
Tips:
Most
bars will will have angles between the sides of either 90 degrees or
135 degrees.

If this is
the case with your bar, you can use either stock ball type fittings or
flush type fittings to connect the sides.
.
It is common
to use ball end caps in conjunction with ball fittings at the corners
or flush end caps with flush fittings at the corners.
For example:
or
at the ends, go well with
or
in the corners.

at the ends, go well with
or

Occasionally,
a bar or island will not have corners that conform to the standard 90 or
135 degree angles. If that case, we offer a Universal fitting that
can be used to accommodate any angle. It is comprised of a fixed ball
and an adjustable flange which you can position and affix at any angle on
the ball. It looks like this:
Finally, often
times a bar will end at a wall. It is perfectly OK to end
at a wall with a flat end cap but you may also use a wall flange to
terminate the tubing at a wall.
